Mobile first design sites are meant for one thing – pure performance. When built with this focus, layouts are built with utmost precision. Free from fluff, well-designed, minimalistic – mobile first sites lay the bare minimum foundation that is also rich in user experience. Our user experience experts create layouts and their components and user interface artifacts that can not only fit but also be visually appealing in the smallest of screen sizes.

Our mobile first design principle ensures uncluttered layout designs, clear and concise user interface component structure, intuitive navigability, and easy accessibility of functionality. The virtue of being scaled up to fit larger screens makes mobile first design even more powerful. Using media queries, underlying code generates appropriately enriched layouts for sites when viewed from desktops and laptops. Even when viewed on large LED/LCD screens, site pages are equipped with perfect user interface component organization for enhanced user experiences.

Highlights of our Solutions our approach

Neuronimbus offers you a Mobile First Design solution that can help you manage your business efficiently.

GRACEFUL ENRICHMENT

Designers layout a plan for a mobile first strategy. The most useful user interface components and functionalities are identified. A layout is conceptualized that is high on user experience, is functionally sound and easily accessible. Starting from the smallest devices, to medium devices and to large devices, the user interface elements are reorganized from the ground up. This way, the site renders with the same precision, organization, visual neatness and dexterity, and speed from the smallest mobile device’s screen to the largest fixed monitor device’s screen.

CONTENT INVENTORY

Our design process incorporates a content inventory philosophy. Starting from the most basic inventory required for mobile sites with the smallest screen dimensions, the foundation is laid. The most critical elements form the foundation. Functionality, textual content, images, videos, infographics are all given votes based on their importance. The smallest screen sizes will have elements that have the highest votes. As the screen size increases, elements with relatively lower votes are eventually included in the design.

VISUAL HIERARCHY

When applying visual hierarchy in design, the most important elements are displayed at a minimum. They then accommodate more elements as the screen size increases. The visual hierarchy principle ensures that all visual aspects of the user interface seem as important as the other. From the color schemes, to the subtle variations in the contrasts, to the highly-recallable icon/infographic art, our digital services team will handhold your sites into mature, responsive and responsible ones!

FOCUS ON TOUCH TARGETS

UX is not always based on mouse cursors. On mobile devices, it’s fingers that control the interface. Applying touch target principles – our team focuses on enabling elements with the right sizes in terms of pixels. So that when interacting with such elements on the screen, fingers don’t obscure or hide elements. Hovers are not used on smaller screens to adapt user interface elements based on user interaction. Rather, touch based adaptive behavior is enabled in such cases.
