Newly appointed CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, launched in his first press conference, the long awaited MS Office suite for Apple’s best-selling iPad, which consists of Word, PowerPoint as well as Excel. The Office suite can be downloaded through the App Store. And the good news is, Microsoft is offering its Office Mobile for free for both iPhone as well as Android phones.

With the free apps versions, users will be able to go through Word, Excel and Powerpoint files. According to Microsoft, the documents will appear as good as they come into view on desktop, or even better on the iPad.

The paid Office 365 subscription provides you the facility to modify and make new documents. Microsoft ensures the content as well as formatting continues to be consistent in all the platforms – Office on PC, Mac, tablet as well as phone. By means of OneDrive & OneDrive for Business, users will have access to their modified documents.

Via Office 365 subscription, users will be able to install Office for iPad on up to five tablets and five copies across Office for your PCs as well as Macs.

This latest development only proves the commitment of Microsoft to offer market-leading productivity solutions in all the famous platforms as well as devices.

But, as Mac OS has been a success, do you think MS Office on iPad will be able to equally please its customers?
